Eriko’s relationship with her husband has grown cold, and she throws herself into her work as a probation officer. One day, she is assigned to a man named Ozawa who has just been released from prison. At first, Eriko treats him harshly due to his history of involvement with antisocial groups, but as she comes to know his honest and sincere nature, she gradually finds herself drawn to him… Meanwhile, her relationship with her husband grows increasingly strained, and she finally runs away from home .
