Movie Information:
The close-knit Tojo couple (Koji and Natsu) had had been struggling with infertility for years. However, it was discovered that the cause was the husband’s “azoospermia.” Out of guilt, the husband suggested using a sperm bank, but his wife—who felt uncomfortable with the idea of using sperm from a stranger whose face she didn’t even know—couldn’t bring herself to accept it. One day, after inviting a subordinate (Ryohei) whom her husband was fond of over to their home… after her husband passed out drunk and fell asleep, the wife directly pleaded with the subordinate to “donate sperm.” Although she firmly tells herself that “this isn’t an affair,” their relationship transcends the framework of “donation” and evolves into something entangled with complex emotions and desires.
