Movie Information:
Kuroi, who had been dumped out of the blue by his girlfriend of five years, fled the city—filled with memories of her—as quickly as possible and ended up working day-labor jobs in an unfamiliar town. There, he meets Futaba, a boss who’s as tough as any man and doesn’t hesitate to scold him harshly. One day, after being confronted with his own helplessness, Kuroi works late into the night and falls asleep at the job site—only to be found by Futaba. She lets him stay at her place for the night. There, he learns that she is a single mother raising her daughter on her own. Exposed to her motherly kindness and caring nature—qualities she never shows at work—Kuroi gradually finds himself drawn to Futaba.
