Movie Information:
A young couple transferred from the city to a mountain village. Hiroki, the husband, joined the Regional Revitalization Corps, while his wife, Aoi, became an elementary school teacher. They were supposed to work together with the residents to build a life in the countryside. However, in a village devoid of young women, Aoi is subjected to strange stares as an “outsider.” When she seeks help after being persistently harassed by the village chief’s son, the villagers all say in unison, “You must preserve the village’s bloodline.” Eventually, the couple is locked up in the school by the entire village.
