The night streets shimmer with neon lights… It’s been ten years since this city became my way of life. The company my husband started went bankrupt… We ended up saddled with massive debts as a couple. For ten years, I forced myself to drink alcohol I couldn’t stand, and before I knew it, I had managed to open my own shop. I’d also managed to pay off the debt and was on the verge of clearing it completely. Just a little more and it would all be over… but just then, debt collectors showed up at Marina’s shop. Her husband had once again gotten his hands dirty with dirty money and racked up additional debt.
