Movie Information:
Kuroi, who was suddenly dumped by his girlfriend of five years, flees the city—filled with memories of her—as quickly as possible and ends up working day-labor jobs in an unfamiliar town. There, he meets Futaba, a tough, no-nonsense boss who scolds him harshly. One day, while facing his own sense of helplessness, he works late into the night and falls asleep on the job site— and was found by Futaba, who ended up letting him stay at her place for the night. There, he learns that she is a single mother raising her daughter on her own. Exposed to her motherly kindness and caring nature—qualities she never shows at work—Kuroi gradually finds himself drawn to Futaba.
