On the final day of the annual new employee welcome hot spring trip, two new hires assigned to the Planning Department were encouraged to stay one more night. It is customary for the trip organizer and the candidate for next year’s organizer to receive an extra night’s stay as a perk. “We’re thinking of having the two of you run next year’s hot spring trip—how does that sound? I’ve already spoken to management, so you’ll have a special day off tomorrow.” The two rookies were thrilled at the prospect of an extra night. That night, they got into the party spirit with their seniors, but behind the scenes, a female senior slipped something that looked like a d**g into the rookies’ drinks. “Sorry, we’re going to bed early,” the rookies said, slightly tipsy, as they returned to their room.
